Auburn Baseball Releases 2019 Schedule

The Auburn Tigers Baseball team will look to capitalize on a successful 2018 campaign, which saw them win their first-ever Super Regional game. The 2019 baseball schedule was released this afternoon

Auburn opens February with eight games, five at Plainsman Park. Georgia Southern travels to Auburn to open the season February 15-17. Auburn will follow up with two mid-week games against Alabama A&M February 19 and 20. The first road trip will be a trek to Orlando to face the UCF Knights February 22-24.

After a mid-week break, Auburn opens the month of March with eight straight games at home, starting with a weekend series against Cincinnati (March 1-3), two mid-week games against Tennessee-Martin (March 6-7), and a weekend series with the University of Texas at San Antonio (March 8-10). The Tigers then travel to Mobile for a mid-week game against South Alabama on March 12, before opening conference play against Tennessee on March 15-17.

Auburn plays ten-weekend series’ against SEC teams. In addition to hosting the Vols, the Tigers welcome Arkansas (April 5-7), Ole Miss (April 19-21), Alabama (May 4-6), and Georgia (May 10-12).

Auburn will travel to Mississippi State (March 22-24), South Carolina (March 29-31), Texas A&M (April 12-14), Vanderbilt (April 26-28), and LSU (May 16-18).

The Tigers traditional home-and-home series with Georgia Tech begins on April 2nd at Plainsman Park, with Auburn returning to Atlanta on April 16. Jacksonville State also returns to the schedule. The Gamecocks travel to Auburn on April 9 and will host the Tigers on April 23. The third non-conference home-and-home series will be against UAB. Auburn will travel to Birmingham on March 19 and will host the Blazers on May 7.

Auburn also hosts Alabama State on April 30, and division one newcomer North Alabama on May 14. The 11th Capital City Classic with Alabama will be held on March 26th at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.
