Auburn Baseball will face Florida in Gainesville for the NCAA Baseball Super Regionals beginning Saturday at 11 A.M. For Auburn, this will be their first trip to the Supers since 1999, and only their second trip in program history

Auburn swept the competition in Raleigh, North Carolina last weekend to earn a trip to the Super Regionals. All aspects of the game were played nearly perfectly, with the Tigers outscoring Northeastern, Army, and NC State 40-12 in three games.

For Florida, their road to the Supers was a little bumpy. The Gators played four games in the Gainesville Regional, defeating Columbia and Jacksonville to set up the 2-0, 2-1 finale with Florida Atlantic. The Owls defeated Florida, 7-4 in game six of the regional, led by a five-run 3rd inning, to force a winner-take-all game seven. Florida Atlantic jumped on the Gators early, taking a 2-0 lead before Florida appeared at the plate. But, three Gator long balls that plated five total runs was enough for Florida to take the regional, 5-2, and to keep their hosting duties for one more weekend.

Auburn travels to Gainesville for the 2nd time this season. Florida took 2-of-3 from Auburn April 26-28. In that meeting, we saw a duel between first-round picks Casey Mize and Brady Singer in game one, as well as an 11-run output from the Tigers in game two.

Auburn is two wins away from clinching a spot in Omaha. The Tigers and Gators begin the Super Regionals on Saturday at 11 A.M. CT in Gainesville.
